BankCV was conceived in early 2000 by a number of Investment Bankers with a view to creating an independent recruitment platform for the city workplace.
If you take a look at the recruitment market, there is a major need for rationalisation of the industry. From high commission fees to a lengthy hiring process, there never has been a direct way for a city worker to get their CV in front of the Banks & Brokers without going via a traditional recruitment firm.
The challenge for us has been to get the co-operation and input from the banks and also cater to the needs & requirements of the city workforce. After one year of extensive research, testing and gaining feedback, the BankCV service is now live.
Over the year, the re-invention of recruitment firms to the web has also created its own challenges but our niche 'CV capture' system has gained the trust and respect of Banks citywide. Over our launch period you will see additional banks & brokers signing up and Banking Associations are soon to be added as supporters of this service.
We feel that we have achieved the basic ideals that set us on this path, the ability for a person to have complete control over their CV and personal information. The comprehensive search filters allows the Banks & Brokers to quickly identify CV's that interest them and contact that person via our confidential 'Interview Request Service'.
Expansion is a key area for us; we soon plan to launch WallStResume with EuropeCV and FarEastCV coming soon after. A truly global CV bank for the financial world.
So even if you are not looking for a job, just being on the database will allow any member to view your anonymous CV and contact you with a possible job interest, you have nothing to lose!
